1. Introduction – These Terms and Conditions govern the membership of Infrastructure New Zealand. By applying for membership, you agree to be bound by these terms, which form a binding contractual agreement between the member (you) and Infrastructure New Zealand (we, us).
  2. Membership Eligibility – Membership is open to individuals and organisations with a professional interest in New Zealand’s infrastructure sector. We reserve the right to assess and determine the eligibility of applicants for membership.
  3. Membership Fees and Payment – Membership fees are due annually and must be paid in full as per the invoice terms. Membership benefits may be suspended for members whose fees are in arrears.
  4. Membership Benefits – Members are entitled to a range of benefits, including access to events, publications, and networking opportunities. Specific benefits are detailed in the membership package selected upon application.
  5. Member Conduct – Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner in all dealings with the organisation, other members, and the public. Any conduct deemed damaging to the reputation of Infrastructure New Zealand may result in suspension or termination of membership. Members will abide by the Constitution, and act in a manner consistent with the Purposes of INZ. A full copy of the Constitution can be found here.
  6. Termination of Membership – Members may terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice. No refunds of membership fees will be provided upon termination. We reserve the right to terminate a membership if a member fails to comply with these terms and conditions, after providing the member with notice and an opportunity to rectify the situation.
  7. Changes to Terms and Conditions – We may update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Members will be notified of significant changes and continued membership will constitute acceptance of these changes.
  8. Privacy – We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our members. Our privacy policy, outlines how we collect, use, and protect member information.
  9. Governing Law – These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and members agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
