The Hamilton-Auckland (H2A) Corridor is a new partnership between the Crown, Iwi, and local government to enable sustainable growth between two of our fastest growing cities. This event will update our members and stakeholders on the progress made since its formal announcement at the Building Nations Symposium last August.
The Hon. Phil Twyford, Minister for Urban Development, will provide a high-level overview on the Corridor followed by Hamilton Mayor Paula Southgate who will discuss the new Hamilton-Waikato metropolitan spatial plan and the Council’s priority development areas. Clive Mackenzie (Kiwi Property) will have key updates on the Drury future growth area and Chris Joblin (Tainui Group Holdings) will provide a summary on the progress to date for the Ruakura Superhub and how it relates to regional transport networks.
