The need for a broadened consciousness around our changing climate is shaping procurement, policy, and leadership models across business sectors. With Treasury's recent Living Standards Framework (LSF), policymakers must recognise the diversity of outcomes meaningful for all New Zealanders through four capitals: natural, human, social, and financial.

For Doug Johnson, Managing Director of Tonkin + Taylor, strong leadership means exploring what the role of engineering consultancy is with respect to sustainability and a changing climate. Engineers and their partners in infrastructure delivery must lift their gaze from designing and constructing assets to creating safe, healthy, community-oriented experiences that balance a broad range of outcomes such as those set out by the LSF.

If you are interested to learn about what you can do to promote sustainable practice and to hear more about what Doug is doing to promote a climate-conscious New Zealand, come along to this Inner Circle Session.

The Inner Circle sessions are a great chance for a quieter, deep dive into certain topics with a smaller group. You can come along just to listen, or bring every question you ever had about climate & sustainability but were too afraid to ask. Throughout the discussion Doug will also share his career journey and insights he's picked up along the way.

Spaces are very limited. Please register below by Friday, 28 February 2020.
