The world we live in is changing faster, in more ways and more profoundly than ever before. Technology is driving the future development of transport systems globally. In the last few years, we have seen a rapid growth in new transport related technologies and business models - all with the potential to change the way people travel. These developments present challenges, but also offer new opportunities for innovation.

Infrastructure NZ, together with co-sponsors Beca and Uber, are delighted to invite you to learn about the Future of Mobility with:

  • Bryn Gandy, Deputy Chief Executive from the Ministry of Transport, speaking on the Ministry’s work on the next 30 years of public transport in New Zealand
  • Matt Ensor, Business Director – Advisory, Beca speaking on why new technology will drive changes in transport plans and investments
  • Amanda Gilmore, NZ CEO of Uber, speaking on Uber’s goals to reduce private car ownership and be part of a better Auckland through partnering with local authorities on innovative first and last mile solutions and building out active modes like e-scooters and e-bikes
  • Rob Berrill, Tribe Lead Physical Infrastructure, Spark and Dr Mahmood Hikmet, Head of Research and Development at Ohmio, speaking on 5G and what it means for the future of transport

Thanks to the sponsorship of Uber, each attendee will be provided with a promo code for a discounted Uber ride to the event. This will follow on registration.
