The New Zealand Government has set the ambitious target of zero net carbon emissions by 2050. At this Infrastructure New Zealand event, the Productivity Commission’s Murray Sherwin will present a roadmap for how we get there and thinkstep’s Jeff Vickers will launch their latest report “Creating a Positive Drive: Decarbonisation of New Zealand’s Transport Sector by 2050.”

What is the role of electric vehicles in achieving our climate change objectives and what is the role of light rail, car sharing and behavioural change?

An expert panel featuring our two keynote presenters along with Abbie Reynolds from Business NZ, Spencer Morris from Toyota and Dave Bodger from Gull will discuss the findings and policy implications for New Zealand.

Thanks to our hosts Simpson Grierson, the function will conclude with refreshments and networking.
