The Prime Minister has announced today that all of New Zealand – except for Auckland – will move to alert level 2 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 7 September. The use of face masks will also be mandatory inside most public venues, including shops, malls and public spaces.
Cabinet would further review those levels on Monday 13 September, along with Auckland’s level 4 settings.
